Paintings from or inspired by a month-long, self-directed residency at Starry Night in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico
Viveca used their time in T or C to research various religious and mythological creation stories, as well as religious and supernatural “encounters” with god(s) or a higher power. Over the course of the month, Viveca floated with a buddhist monk down the Rio Grande, met Death in a courtyard, and was propositioned by one of Earth’s lesser known Moons.
